  • Wow!  Things have definitely gotten extremely busy!  I now have to drive up to St. Cloud almost everyday of the week for sorority stuff.  I am not really complaining, but now I get to see Rob even less which really sucks.  He started his new job at the gym today, so that is another thing he has to do to keep him away from home.  The sorority stuff is going pretty well.  I am having a really good time getting to know a lot of new people, and making some new friends.  Whenever you get a bunch of girls together to watch guys strip at a frat house, there is bound to be some sort of dramatic instance that sparks even more drama, which is just the case in point for Saturday night.  Someone said something to someone and people got a little out of control.  I hate drama, and I really do try to stay as far away from it as possible, but I am beginning to realize that being in a sorority with 36 other girls, there is bound to be drama no matter how good of friends we are.

School is also getting really hectic as well.  I find most of my classes to be really interesting, but there is so much work that I hardly have time to breathe let alone sleep.  Anway.. I am hoping to be in Fargo for a couple of days next week for spring break in case anyone is around, give me a call if you want to hang out!

Ok so it has been over a month since I last updated, and I should probably do that.  A lot has been going on lately, and I have been staying extremely busy.  I know it is not like me, but I am joining a sorority.   I was pinned on Sunday which was pretty exciting.  The girls in the sorority, phi epsilon alpha, seem really really cool.  I hear it will be hard work, but I am really looking forward to getting to know these girls, and have fun doing it.  School is definitely keeping me busy.  I am taking a lot of classes that involve a lot of work.  So I have papers to write every week, and tests to study for every other day I swear.  But other than being busy, nothing too terribly exciting is happening right now.  Rob is still gone most of the time, and I think pretty soon he will run out of gas, but I hope that doesn't happen.  Rob's B-day weekend came and went, and it was an awesome time!  We headed back up to Fargo through a terrible snow storm, spent a day with my parents, went to the jazz concert at NDSU, then met up with some of his friends downtown. It was a blast, and Rob seemed to enjoy himself which is what I was hoping for.   We watched part of the superbowl at my aunt and uncle's house in Walcott, then headed to Heather and Sean's to say goodbye.   When we got home, He picked out his present, which I will enjoy as well.  It was a surround sound system which goes nicely with our new television.  Valentine's day I spent home alone doing laundry and homework because was working hard at Red Lobster.  We went out last night for happy hour down at my new favorite place to eat, Chico's Place.  It is in Becker on Hwy 10 if anyone ever gets a chance to check it out it is awesome!!  Then came back home and watched the present I got him, Saw 2.  Now in my opinion it was definitely not as good as the first one, but still pretty scary.  I had nightmare's  and did not sleep very well last night.  I had class all day today, and now I am going to make myself some supper, since my chef is working tonight.

On a sad note there was a guy who went missing from SCSU.  He apparently got lost going from one bar to another, and they found his hat and footprints down by the river bank.  His parents said they are no longer looking for him, but his remains.  How horrific!  It makes my stomach turn that all he needed was someone with him to have prevented this.I hope that people learn that when you are drinking in an unfamiliar placedo not wander off alone at night when you are drunk and don't know where you're going.  My prayers go out his family and friends.

Well I guess that is all the news for now more to come later!

  • Wow it has definitely been awhile since I updated this thing.  I have been doing pretty well.  For Christmas I hung out at Rob's family's house in Blaine, MN.  It was a pretty good time.  We ate some good food and played some games.  Then Rob and I went to Kindred to see my family, and I got a new laptop and some much needed cash from the rents.  For New Years we went to Red Lobster then hit a couple of bars to ring in the new year.  I had a pretty good time and met some cool people.  Besides that I have been working and so has Rob.  He just started school again, and it is a little hard to adjust to the alone time again.  Rob's friend Jess came to visit us on Saturday and the three of us had a blast.  She did not leave until Sunday afternoon, when Rob's sister came to stay with us.  We had some good bonding time and on Monday, we all went to the Wild game which was really fun even though they lost to Dallas.  Rob is whipping up some good food in the kitchen so I better go and help make sure everything tastes alright.

  • Monday is finally coming to a halt, and it has been a fairly good day.  I got up and went to work this morning and then headed down to Maple Grove for lunch at Red Lobster with Rob.  We never get to eat together, or go out, so it was really nice to spend some time outside of the apartment with him.  I went to Walmart and bought a lot of stuff tonight.  I had to buy floor mats for my new vehicle, which is an awesome green Jimmy.  I also bought some seat covers and a steering wheel cover.  I then decided i needed a whole bunch of other stuff that now that I think back at it, is completely unnecessary.  I bought some hair stuff to go with my dress for Rob's military ball that is on Saturday.  Other than that everything I bought was not needed.

The weather was really good here until about an hour ago when it started snowing.  I know it is bad to the west in Fargo, and I hear it is coming my way, but I really hope the roads are ok to drive on by morning, b/c I am now a huge worrywart when it comes to driving.

On another note my friend Nicole who is 19 is really in a bad place in her life.  I hope I can be there for her and help her get through it, but she needs to figure some stuff out on her own first.  When I think back to when I was 19 I realize just how much I have changed in the past 2 years.  I am now a much more mature, confident woman.  I am definitely far away from where I thought I would be.  I thought I would still be with Brett and maybe thinking about the M word.  I know that the end of that relationship was the catalyst for who I have become today.  I sometimes wonder what life would be like if things were different, but then I realize that I would probably still be the same person I was back then.  I am happy with the person I have come to be over the last couple of years, and when I look back I know that I wouldn't take back the bad times, becasue they made me stronger.  I think that looking back is great and fine, but one needs to look forward for anything to change for the better.

On that note I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and is safe and warm right now.  I just found out that some girl got shot on my campus this weekend, which is really scary.  I am now definitely going to feel even more worried when I have to walk eight blocks to my car.  On that note I will save the rest for later.

  • Well it is almost Thangsgiving and I am really excited to be going home!  I am hopefully going to have a new car before I have to come back to school.  I don't really know what kind, but if anyone has seen my car I definitely need a new one!  I just got done with class for the day and am doing some major cleaning.  I hate coming back after a weekend away and having to vaccuum and clean.  I will be in town Wednesday night until Saturday or Sunday.  I hope to see some old faces and enjoy a relaxing time at my parents.  Everyone have a Happy Turkey day, and be safe this weekend!!
